A Little Bit About Me
I come from a large family where I am the eldest. I am very family orientated so it must be important to my future partner as well. I am also very independent and would like to continue this balance in my marriage.

I have a quirky personality and love weird humour (puns!). Although I am sociable I prefer to keep the company of a small group of close friends. I really enjoy reading but please don’t expect it to be anything philosophical or mind blowing – I am an escapist. I spend a lot of time out with my friends or family and can be found eating or watching movies. I love action / superhero movies! On the flip side I enjoy cooking (haven’t mastered a curry yet) and binge watching TV shows – if this is not something you enjoy or can live with then you should maybe stop reading.

I should also point out that if you are looking for someone who will stay at home to look after the house etc. This is not me. No offence to anyone who is looking for this. I am ambitious have worked hard for my career and will continue to do so after marriage. I want to balance my career with my family life after marriage. Saying that I believe marriage is about negotiating and compromise and my views will likely change later on in marriage.

I try to observe my daily prayers on time and always keep halal. I would like my future partner to be on the same level as me so we can expand our deen together. I also wear the hijab. No one is perfect when observing their religion but I think that as long as we both have the right intentions then we can go from there.
